As someone who was a part of the audience at tonight's screening at BIFF, I would first like to thank you for making this film. By doing so you opened up a dialogue that quite possibly would not have developed in the general population otherwise.  I know that I have certainly taken a step back and reevaluated my thoughts/beliefs on HIV and AIDS as a result.  It is my hope that this film gets distributed and can be seen by many worldwide.

On another note, I feel it was unfortunate how the post-film discussion turned out.  A general lack of respect on everyone's part deterred a thought provoking dialogue and instead turned the discussion into a black and white, seemingly two-sided account.  I feel this was based on a lack of understanding on the part of many people.  It was my understanding that the film did not promote two sides to the story, but many differing opinions and attitudes about the cause, progression, treatment, and prevalence of AIDS.

The reality of AIDS is that it is not black and white.  Even today we have more questions than answers.  Yet the media seems to take one side on the subject, which the masses have accepted as fact.  Your film beautifully portrays the idea that AIDS is not as simple as we all have been led to believe, bringing up thought provoking questions while still maintaining an objective standpoint.  I applaud you for your hard work in bringing these questions to light and good luck with the controversy that will follow.
